Father Finds Way to Lose Weight for Daughter’s Wedding
Rodney Bugg used Isagenix products to help him lose 107 pounds.*
Chandler, Ariz. – Dec. 1, 2006 – When Rodney Bugg’s youngest daughter announced she was engaged, Bugg became fully engaged in a goal of his own. He began what he calls his "Isagenix journey." On Sept. 30, he attended his daughter’s wedding 107 pounds lighter*—all by following the Isagenix Cleansing and Fat Burning System.
He also went from about waist size 50 to 36.*
"I wanted to make some changes, not only for my daughter’s wedding, but for my own health," said Bugg. He was tipping the scales at 310 pounds and was concerned about the way he felt.
"I was starting to have some issues," Bugg said. "My wife and I are 60-ish. I spend a lot of time in my upstairs office, and I noticed I was having more joint and back pain and—going up stairs with that extra weight—it was harder to catch my breath.
"I can’t believe the change and how fast it’s taken place. If it hadn’t happened to me personally, I’m not sure I would have believed it. I’m half the man I used to be, well… two-thirds anyway. My daughter is 31, and she has no recollection of me being as small as I am now."
Bugg had hoped to drop 50 pounds before her wedding, and when he lost more than double that, he had one mi-nor concern. He had seen how people reacted when they saw his new look, and he told his daughter he didn’t in any way want to steal the limelight at her wedding.
"She held my face in her hands and said, ‘You go with it. You deserve it,’" Bugg said.
The wedding was one more in a series of exciting and happy milestones on Bugg’s voyage.
"By the fifth day on the system, I could already start feeling differences, feeling better," he said. At the completion of his first Cleansing and Fat Burning System, he felt terrific.
"Now, I no longer wake up wondering, ‘What’s going to hurt today?’ I get up a lot earlier than I have in years, feeling like, ‘Okay, let’s get this day going.’ My energy really surprises me."
